I have a king quad 700 battery not charging every thing works great as long as battery is charged up have replaced stator and rectifier did not help new battery new battery cables can’t find any corroded wires or broken wires any ideas. Like. In this video show how to take the side cover off to replace the stator hopefully fixes the problem with burning up the regulatorIt could. Lots of hard to start or no starting problems on the kings come back to this issue and its something easy to check. I fixed a similar sounding problem a few years ago on my 2007 King 700. The fix was (as found on this forum) to add an additional ground cable from the negative battery terminal to the frame.
