328i engine swap. So I’ve had my 2012 328i for over a year and did the basic maintenance pretty regularly. Tuned it and upgraded a few parts to keep it somewhat reliable and the engine blew up anyways. The two options I have are to replace the n20 engine and sell it or throw in an n55/b58 and keep it for longer.

I don't know what the driving conditions are where you are but a 330i should be more than sufficient. Learn to love what you have or sell the car for a 340i or M3.93 octane: 400-420whp. Race gas: 410-430whp. E30: 420-440whp. Bm3 B58 stage 2 tunes come in with horsepower around 390-440whp. Again, expect higher boost targets and power on better fuels. Stage 1: no supporting mods required, 20% increase in hp over stock on 93 octane. Stage 2: downpipe required, 26% increase over stock. Stage 2+: downpipe and hpfp required, 43% increase over stock.
