Ram 2500 stuck in 4th gear.

I am not hard on the truck and changed the fluid and filters at 100k. It doesnt make any attempt to move in drive, but also doesnt make any noises. Also, putting the transmission in a particular gear using the selection doesnt make a difference. It feels as if the truck is in neutral. 2015 Ram 2500, 6.7, 68RFE, 4wd. IIRC if it was reflashed to factory and was in limp mode, tuning with some tuners might not take it out of limp mode. The ECM might need to see itself out of limp mode, which would mean connecting the missing parts back on for it to see them to pop out of limp mode, and be tuned.I have a 6-speed automatic transmission. The transmission went to 4th and skidded the tires significant enough to create smoke from the tires. Downshifting from 6th to 4th at 65 (or even 75+) mph shouldn't cause the tires to lock up. The cause: about 100K miles prior, 5th gear had come off. The repair performed involved a thrust washer. The thrust washer came off, went through the gear case and was caught on the magnet on the bottom of the tranny case.
