One shader is in fact multiple shaders together in one package. The shader for the weapon and for the armor for example is different (and probably ships/sparrows). It's the same shader in game, but it applies a different shader file in the code depending on if it's armor or weapon. Shaders are initially developed by the separate teams.Bungie Suggestion.
