I don't think mine darkened until 13 DPO. Just keep testing and try a digital around your missed period day. Good luck and congrats!

Most people with ongoing viable pregnancies who reckon they didn't get a positive test until their period was late are wrong about when they ovulated.Fingers crossed for you too.
