Bannerlord best army composition.

Vlandia: Swordsman line is great because your T1-3 infantry can turn into vanguard, Crossbows are good, but you need critical mass. Sturgia: The Veteran Spearman line is pretty good, avoid their archers, Brigand line is good for the same reasons as Vlandia, but woodsmen are awful. Battania: Skirmisher or Oathsworn lines are good.

Fians are best, but any will do. Archers in bannerlord are a bit absurd in terms of their strength. If you aren't above exploiting the game, then archers are even more powerful because you can kill a bunch of enemies at range, but before they even get to your archer retreat from battle and do it again. Khans for mounted archery. Imperial Elites wreck in out performing others in cavalry and have great armor and weapons. Just can’t beat ‘em.Archers will fire at a distance this makes for a weaker shot and they will run out of ammo. and troop vs troop, imp shields and Stergia axe men at top level. with perks the axes deal with shielded troops easy. I think a full Fian army would win due to the heavy archer fire then the 2 handed after, but the AI will never run this. It's really as simple as the strongest units in each formation, as others have mentioned. The only decision is infantry. 9/10 people will suggest Legionaries, which is probably the safest bet. I always opt for Heroic Line Breakers instead simply because they're murder in a siege. Stay at tier 4 tho and they are one of, if not THE best infantry unit in the game. Line em up shieldwall style in front of fians in loose formation on a hilltop and go make yourself a sammich. I suggest turkey with a little Mayo.Keep In mind thou, that archers aren't As good In melee As crossbow units thou, And if You Face an infantry heavy army, you might have To go into melee with your ranged units. Vlandia is the best for roughly that army composition. Use roughly 75% t3+ Vlandian Crossbowmen and 25% Vlandian Cavalry. If you want to stay one faction I would recommend empire. Maybe not the best unit in each role, but empire has solid troops in each department.I'm looking for an Army composition of only Empire soldiers. I made a post a few years back asking for something similar, and I got 40% infantry, 40% ranged, and 20% Cavalry. Crossbow: 120. Trade: 80. Level: 13.1. Traits: Honest, Cruel. 2. The Swift (Great) Traveling swiftly on horseback is a good way to make lots of denars. The second-best caravan leader beats The Exile only in non-Trade skills. You’ll pay a bit more, but they offer a solid Athletics score on top of excellent Trade. It's either max khans guard, or combo of fians and legionary for me. The khans are best at open field, but a well placed slope defense with the foot army can just wipe the floor with anyone. It's more finicky, but it's also better for sieges as khans guards don't carry shields.Hi, I really want to do a full arabian playthrough.
