DMC stands for DeLorean Motor Company. This American manufacturer existed from 1975 to 1982 and managed to create the DMC-12 car, which appeared in the movie “Back to the Future.” In 1995, Stephen Wynne founded a namesake company in Texas, unrelated to the original DeLorean.
