International parked regen not working.
I navigated to the regen command. Don't recall the exact sequence of buttons, but it was intuitive. [Remember the Alfaobd intiminated me; this did not.] Started the engine; Activated the regen on the scanner; The rpms raised to 2,500 and stayed there for 19 minutes, and then the engine returned to idle.
So the truck keeps calling for a parked regen I have let it do it several times as well as did a manual with pro link but nothing changes. ... The active monitoring does help prolong their life, but the DPFs will get plugged. The CATs are for the most part fairly reliable.That light advises you that the exhaust temps are elevated and not to park near combustibles. As for the parked regen not working there may be a fault code that detects a issue that the regen cannot be performed until the fault is resolved. This is a safety device to protect the engine. You will need to have the ecm scanned and the fault corrected.It is a catalyst, and the reaction it creates reduces the nitrous oxides being emitted. This never requires a 'regen'. If your DEF level isn't reducing as you drive, it isn't getting injected into the exhaust, and something is wrong. Usually this will result in your engine management system putting you into limp mode with limited power, or worse.

It has 3 buttons. First one auto regen, second is park regen and the third is the emergency flashers. I Yesterday when the regen symbol appeared on the panel I tried the auto and it appeared to working, it lit up and the panel indicated to increase rpm's which I did until it went off at 2100.
