Kawasaki vulcan 800 problems.
Dies after 20-30 minutes of riding. I have a 2001 Vulcan 800 classic with around 7000 miles on it. I bought it recently (about 6 months ago) and have been riding it every chance I get. Within the last month or so, the bike starts losing power and then the engine cuts completely off as if it is running out of fuel while I am riding.

2nd gear issues. I had similar issues. Also had gear thrown to nuetral between 1st and 2nd. Evidently I was shifting at way too high rpm even tho the motor was not sounding like it. I read in owners manual the shifting speeds: Gear speed/ mph. 1st 0 - 12. 2nd 12 - 25. 3rd 25 - 35.
