Apr 27, 2020 · The KS47 Gen 2 has most if not all of the issues fixed that are in the Gen 1. Specifically the magazine wobble or it getting pushed up due to not having the over insertion tabs. If you already have an AK with AK mags or plan to, the KS47 Gen 2 would be a good choice since you wont need to get any new mags. The KS-47 G2 upper receiver is precision machined out of forged 7075 T6 aluminum, and then hard coat anodized for durability. While retaining the look of a standard M4 upper, the KS-47 G2 upper is designed to work with the new Gen2 KS-47 lower. It's a KS47 gen 2 upper I bought stripped from Palmetto State Armory. You can do it with gen 1 uppers as well, but you have to put in your own overinsertion stops into the upper. Otherwise, standard barrel and bolt. Bolt carrier is cut to accept AK mags. I guess you could say it's special built, but the PSA KS47 Uppers are already good to go.
