The Princess Bride, Howl's Moving Castle and Hitchhiker's Guide are awesome feel-good books. I also like reading the Stephanie Plum series for some light reading. The last of the hitchhikers books by adams depressed me. I have a weakness for the Shopaholic series.The best ever is Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake, then Book of the New Sun by Wolfe.
