Aug 26, 2010. Something that's always struck me as odd is the age difference between Padme and Anakin. In the first film, he's a mere child, and she's already an adult with senate duties. Then, after years of not seeing each other, she immediately latches onto him. Basically, he's reached puberty, so now he's fair game.
