Isx blowing coolant out overflow but not overheating.

I tried a parts store pos and my coolant was hitting 225f and very concerning. Installed a Cummins one and it hasn't gone over 202f even during the heat wave we had last summer. It does not appear to be leaking anywahere, but when the truck is running, you can smell hot coolant around the passenger side. The low coolant light never comes on while running, but only after being shut off for 12 hours or more. I'm guessing EGR cooler?

It's nearly impossible to fill the Cruze's coolant and get all the air bubbles out so they work their way out as you drive. You'll need to put more coolant in in a few weeks simply to replace the air that's worked it's way out of the system.
