25 posts · Joined 2013. #8 · Dec 29, 2013. The issue of the hammer sticking up to high to get the bold in after cleaning is a common problem on newer guns. Looking down the tube on mine (less than a year old) and comparing it to one that is 4 years old, my hammer is up much higher.

I used a spring loaded hinge and a true glow red dot site. I can still fold my gun and it seems to be usable.
