A Fun/Different LBG Build - Slicing Rapid Fire. This is my take on a different type of LBG build, apart from the Nargacuga Pierce 2 spam and any Elemental Builds using the Rathalos or Almudron LBGs. This one focuses on 2 things: Slicing Ammo and therefore cutting tails/breaking parts. It also does a decent chunk of damage overall.

Sticky slice lbg works but it isn't as good as elemental. Getting it to work well also requires some good rolls on talismans and qurios armor crafting. If you can get the rolls, it's still a so so build for solo. Where it shines is when you have a group with really high dps. This is my current build:
Lastly because I've gone full into status, weapon choice is rather simple. Jelly has the highest Blunt/Paralysis weapon. Cat-aclysm Knell has the highest Blunt/Sleep. Pukei has the highest Blunt/Poison. There is no Blunt/Blast currently but it's an option if you want to go Magnamalo weapon for Severing/Blast.
Malzeno LBG, Shagaru LBG, Narga and now Lucent LBG are all really strong Pierce LBGs. There’s not rly that many good endgame spread LBGs. And with Spread being a riskier ammo type, especially with the gunner defense modifier in master rank, that further compounds the issue. Pierce LBG is my favorite definitely. 1.Get the ore bowgun, ends at jaeger prime, it’s pretty easy to get. Has normal up 2 and a lot of other elemental shots. get the tetsu armor set for some skills and you’ll be doing 17-26 damage per hit for each normal 2 rapid shot. Boards. Monster Hunter Rise. Strife: When the red bar is above around 60% of the hp bar (at 200 hp) you get 20% element, 20% affinity and infinite stamina. When it's below 60%, you get 15% element and 10% affinity without infinite stamina.Build Note. The best starter High Rank set for most weapon types thanks to its High Critical Eye level. With the starter talisman, you can easily net a level 6 critical Eye which can grant a flat 30% affinity. It also has consitution 3 for stamina heavy weapon types so Bows, Dual Blades, Insect Glaives, and Hammers will love the Izuchi S set.Really fun, and beats out RF pierce narga in a bunch of match ups. Two negatives about the build: Stationary shooting, which isn't really too bad, just have to be more mindful of positioning. Low ammo count for slicing. I created a character a while back just to play with my wife and decided to run a Shrapnel build because of how spastic the monsters are in multiplayer. Toss in the wirebug vault skill and sticking a few mines to the monster and they light up like a Christmas tree with every shrapnel.Two mandatory skills that you need are normal/rapid up 3 and critical boost 3, if you have any space left over try to squeeze in some attack boost. If other HBGs are an option an attack boost Daora HBG build can even out-damage the Zinogre due to its potent ramp-up skill. Critical Eye 7 gives 40%. Augments for Affinity Boost lv2 gives 10%. so you will have 100% affinity after clearing Bloodlust.
