The MCX, Virtus and Rattler all have different upper receivers (upper rail length). But you can swap barrels between them. Handguards are not cross compatible between Virtus and Rattler or MCX. My big question to you all is it worth it to pony up the extra $$ and get the new VIRTUS or grab one of the Gen 1 MCX's while they are cheap. From what I can tell the big differences are in the upper and gas system length.
