In an exclusive interview, Bevus Fellhinder told the Herald he uses his solar-powered ATV to ride to his job at WalMart, West Virginia's largest employer, but admitted there was a problem. It would travel only 25 miles an hour.Lloyd K. Stemple (1880-1962) was the son of early Calhoun comer Ahab Stemple, whose log house was reconstructed at Calhoun County Park. Ahab Stemple, who lived part of his life on Rowels Run near Hur, had 11 children. Lloyd married Hester Sturm and had five children.

Calhoun connected Dan Kemper of Parkersburg is capturing aerial shots of Calhoun County from his drone, including the Calhoun County Park, and recently the entire town of Grantsville and Bethlehem Cemetery. Weaver was on his way to the Kight Store at Nobe to sell butter and eggs when he encountered his long-time enemy Beaman Wright, who killed him. Weaver's widow with six children in 1928.The devastating flooding resulted in 47 fatalities and caused an estimated 580 million dollars worth of damage.
