My game runs without a single hitch, until I come across a Khajiit caravan. I can talk with them, receive training from specific individuals when appropriate, but if I try to initiate the inventory screen to purchase/sell items with Ri'saad or any of the other actual merchants the inventory will pop up for a brief moment before CTD'ing.
The Khajiit caravan around Riften stopped moving around and instead, they just stand there outside of the city walls. The only mods I think that may have affected this are either 'Wet and Cold" or "Inconsequential NPCs", however, I had these mods installed long before this issue had occurred and they had no problems until I did the moon …1. There is only one merchant chest you can enter without glitching through walls. The merchant is the khajiit caravan at Dawnstar. Go to the mine near the longhouse an go the area on the left where there's a stone. It should say when looking at the ground open chest. Another one is at Solitude khajiit caravan. This one in particular belongs to Ahkari, the Khajiit caravan merchant that travels between Riften and Dawnstar. Her Merchant Chest is infamously poorly hidden and can be accessed, thus effectively stealing her wares without technically stealing it. The Unofficial Patch adjusts the chest’s location to be properly hidden. All three of these invisible chests are Khajit Caravan chests, and they can be looted infinitely. To do so, locate the Khajit Traders in the area. They usually travel between Whiterun, Markarth, and Dawnstar. You can talk with them to see what they have. The invisible chest in dawnstar is the shop chest for the Khajiit Caravan. You can reset the contents of the chest by waiting for a caravan to come into Dawnstar. If you talk to them and they have a full inventory, you can loot those items from the chest.

How do you restock the khajiit caravan chest in Skyrim? If you just wait for the Khajiit merchant who is tied to the invisible chest (its their stock) to be outside Dawnstar then you just clear out the chest, save your game then run up to the merchant and kill them and reload. The chest will be fully restocked.

In all seriousness Bethesda did not patch this out. At least in oldrim. There was a day where I tried to find it back on 360, looked in the exact spot it was supposed to be, and couldn't find it. I've gone through 3 new playthroughs and the ones in Markarth and Dawnstar are still there, but I can't find anything online about the Solitude one. Is this just a bug with the Anniversary Edition?
