I have a code body that I'd like to package as an MPLAB X library. Naturally, for the library to be useful, the user must also have access to the header files for the functions in the library. I'm waffling over the best way to distribute the header files -- what have other people done? The purpose of this forum is to help users who need high performance oscillators or clocks in their system. Don't believe the support engineers told you. Simply connect the pickit3 to your USB port, after driver installed, start the IDE, not X-IDE, and select your chip. IDE will download whole new OS and related firmware to the pickit 3. After download completed, it will work.
