Then our direct flight from Miami-SXM was delayed a day due to the 1/15 St. Maarten ATC strike. So our planned 7days/nights on SXM ended up only 6 days/nights, but we made the most of it. Anguilla is overwhelmingly the better of the two locations but it's fun to explore new places and try new things. We stayed in SXM for the last days of our vacation and I don't regret it.
