The max definitely sounds better than the Bose but the Bose are noticeable lighter. The Max will be my home go to headphones and the Pros will be my on the go earphones. The Bose will remain as my travel headphones. I also have QC35 and yes Airpods Max definitely sounds better and got more bass.
