If you are dead set on a 30 cal and the 230 Bergers, or 240 SMK, then the 300 RUM or Norma would be the way to go. The 30 Nosler I don't think would have the case capacity to justify the big pills.

.338 Norma or Norma improved variant is what I would go for. Since it is a hunting rifle, you can easily run them as a repeater in a 3.850 mag with a 300 Berger and use all of the potential case capacity, not really doable with the Edge, though you can just jump a lot, out of a Wyatts 3.850" mag.

Prob the most accurate of them all, more then enough power for elk. More of a push then a snap recoil. The 30 378 has a little more horse power but it beats you up. Easy to load for and 30 cal always has the hottest new bullets when something new pops up. You should get 1000 rounds +\- of accurate barrel life.
