The AAHS/Longshot loads listed are at or near SAAMI max pressure with the wads they list. I hadn't planned on it. SAAMI max is 12,000psi. Lots of room to work for 1.25oz of bismuth and 25+ grain Longshot. I usually load 27.5-29grain. I think the low pressure loads were targeting a niche in the loading community. According to the data it's a 8000 ish psi load. Tite group is not known to be extremely clean. The "dished in" crimp lowers the pressure . From what I have seen. But your definition of dished in. Is probably different than mine. Most are finding they need a 7/8 ounce wad to load one ounce .(CB0178-12)
