You're still a sitting duck when using chaos and on console you can't beam every direction instantly like PC and bungie could change PC to be closer to console as well if it's too strong. Target lock being tied to geomags rather than the base super would make more sense.

Ok, when using middle tree void vs chaos the two simply do not interact. Ursa's will not proc and neither will geomags. The shield will win every time as it lasts longer due to not taking any damage from the chaos reach, and due to taking no damage, geomags will not extend the duration. It's like shooting a wall with your chaos reach.
