Of course, afterwards, when Bai Ji (Liu Shu Yuan) apologizes, it’s cute and amusing that Han Shuo tells him that he’ll be rewarded instead. Aw. 1. The thoughtful writing. Generally speaking, I loved the execution in this show. From camera angles to sound editing (those Cat sounds! <3 ), and color palette to OST, everything comes together in a lovely, cohesive way to create this drama world. I’d say the biggest hero in all of this, though, is the writing.

Episode 19. It’s a very confronting hour for our Dong Joo; there are so many different thoughts and feelings warring against each other, within him. It’s a difficult time for him, and it’s hard to watch him struggle, but like I said before, I do feel that this specific struggle is needful, for him.

In terms of execution, Show totally lives up to its cinematic reputation. Right away in episode 1, you can see that it’s very well made, and every little detail has been given a lot of thought; every camera angle, every transition, carefully mapped out and seamlessly executed. The use of the crane shot throughout an action scene made me feel ...

We’ll be seeing about 2 guest posts per week, and this will unfold into January 2023, and that’s perfectly ok. A darkly polished revenge tale that does a good job of spinning its story, so that there’s an absorbing, cracky quality to the watch experience. There’s a touch of OTT caricature to the bad guys in our story world, which, in my opinion, makes it easier to hate them and root for their downfall. 😅 Importantly, Show makes it natural and ...I think I have shown my love for these 2 dramas in 5 stages – Watching, Understanding, Admiring, Longing, and lastly Letting-Go. Oct 29, 2023 · THE SHORT VERDICT: I think it’s safe to say that Moving is quite the remarkable drama. Not only are the production values top-tier, the directing is thoughtful and intentional, the writing is tight, and the acting is all-around pretty darn excellent. Add on the fact that we have quite the star-studded large cast, and doesn’t it seem like ... 1. The zombies aren’t actually that scary. Show isn’t gratuitous with the zombie scenes or the blood, which I think is a big plus. One of the things that I think makes the zombies different from zombies in other shows, is that the zombies here are portrayed as patients infected by a mysterious disease, rather than undead monsters. 2.Sadly, my experience with this show was like going on a blind date, and then really really trying to make it work, because everyone else kept gushing about what a great guy my date was – only to realize, after much time and effort, that we could only really be friends, at best. 😅. To be clear, I didn’t hate this show.It actually took me several tries, to get into this movie. The first couple of times, I just wasn’t feeling it, and I do think it had to do with my mood, as well as my struggle to connect with Show’s sense of humor, which I’ll talk about next. 2. THE SHORT VERDICT: Answer Me 1988 feels like a larger, bigger-hearted story than its predecessors, thanks to expanding its focus to its community of characters, rather than simply fixating on the leading lady’s husband and the lovelines that feed into it. The adult characters get as much narrative care and attention as their kids, and that ...

Here are couple of things that I think would be helpful to keep in mind, to maximize your enjoyment of the show. 1. This movie can feel pretty slow. With its broody, contemplative, slice-of-life approach, it can feel like nothing much is happening on your screen. But stuff does happen.

This drama features irreplaceable leads with explosive chemistry, an obsessive/complex/powerful ML, a high quality production, and a decent script that mainly stayed on track even if the pacing did slow down massively from episodes 15-29. THE SHORT VERDICT: Nostalgic, fresh, and so full of feels, Twenty-Five, Twenty-One is the show that I didn’t know I needed, in my life. Compact at 11 episodes, Show manages to pack more meat on its bones than some longer shows. It’s contemplative, thought-provoking and layered, and I often came away from an episode, chewing on the thoughtful nuggets of insight and wisdom that Show served up. A meaty, dark, whimsical melodrama that examines the difficulties faced by people suffering from trauma and mental illness, It’s Okay is not an easy watch at all. There is lots to unpack, difficult feelings to feel, and even internal biases to examine. So if you’re looking for a fluffy rom-com, this is probably not for you, for right now.It feels like this sentiment means the world to both of them. 1. The actress playing young Sang Zhi looks like a child. It’s true that the actress playing young Sang Zhi is only 10 years old, but I don’t see that as a problem. It would be a problem if the show was putting a 10-year-old in an inappropriate situation with a much older man, but there’s honestly none of that.A drama that’s got a light, frothy and often comedic outer shell, but harbors an inner core that’s poignant, stirring and heart-in-your-throat moving. To be sure, if one put on a hard logical lens, this show’s flaws may be too glaring for one to overlook. But for those who can turn that logical lens to a blurry soft-focus, and amp up the ...THE SHORT VERDICT: While never terribly strong on the logic front, nor on managing its corporate machinations, Falling For Innocence manages to be a warm, engaging and uplifting watch.
