How accurate is natera gender.
I’ve been struggling to accept my results so I actually called Natera today to speak with them about the accuracy of their test. They actually had a genetics counselor call me back. She basically explained that their test is over 99% accurate. That there are instances where it can be wrong, but often those are the result of underlying issues.

Reply reply.They’re accurate to a point. I had mine done at 10 weeks and I got a low Fetal Fraction of 2.6% which means basically no result. However, natera does not label any result as no result... they tell me I’m high risk for T13, T18 and triploidy. I took a new test around 12-13 weeks with materna21 and came back low risk.
My first pregnancy I used Natera at 8 weeks and was fine. This pregnancy I took the Materniti21 test at 9 weeks and got them back today-they were also fine. If they do come back inconclusive I know the Natera test will redraw and test at no cost to you-don’t know about the other brands tho.
