How to clean bersa thunder 380.

Cleaning Bersa 380 Thunder Barrel. I'm having a hard time cleaning the barrel of my new Bersa. I have shot 360 rounds used Winchester white box ammo and Hornady American Gunner. I use a brass brush and a nylon brush soaked in either Hoppe's number 9 or Rem Oil. No matter how many times I brush I still see streaking in the rifling.To disassemble a Bersa Thunder 380 ACP, first, ensure the gun is unloaded and the magazine is removed. Then, pull the slide back and push the takedown latch, releasing the slide from the frame. Finally, push the slide forward and off the frame, then remove the recoil spring and barrel.Use a flashlight to look in the hole, and turn the firing pin until its milled notch is angled UP a little (- the end of the firing pin will be about 10 - 20 degrees off its normal position.). Then push in the firing pin safety, Twist the firing pin counter clock wise while holding the FPS down with your thumb.I am considering these 2 guns as of now. I will buy both, the 380 will be for defense and the .22lr for fun. I looked at both today at Gander Mountain and I really liked how each one felt in my hands. I like the sites on both as well as the safety/decocker. The funny thing is, I can get the black 380 for the same price as the stainless .22lr.

I would have a light strike once or twice every few shots. After watching a very good video on YouTube addressing Bersa 380 disassembly (thanks to docv73), I removed the firing pin. I was surprised at how much gunk had accumulated in the firing pin area. I cleaned it out, reassembled and the problem was resolved.
