So while it is unrealistic to have half a dozen players leave the game, announced on the TV broadcast, during gameday, it's a trade off. Because to me the point of even having injuries in a game like Madden is to add the challenge of requiring roster depth.

I find the amount of injuries on this game normal. My injury slider was at 10 by default and I was still hit by injuries in Week 1. It might have something to do with the length of my quarters. I run 13 min quarters with accelerated clock to 15. I recall once hearing that quarter length can impact injury.
