Here is what cured it and I have not had any CarPlay connection problems in my JL or any car since. I usually keep my phone in my pocket, when not driving. I have the same issue with you. I have a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. It has a type-a port and a type-c port for the carplay. Weirdly, I tried all my type-a to type-c cables on my car. None of them activate the carplay, some of them I confirm it is a USB3 or data cable. I even tried to use a type-a to type-c adapter with a c-c cable. It just doesn't works.#1. Sometimes going into settings on phone and manually connecting phone to device on either BT or WI-FI will fix. Sometimes turning both WI-FI and BT off and back on on iPhone fixes it.
