When shooting indoors, the Comp has a louder bark with a bit of felt concussion and the dot returns on target faster. The XL has a slower feel to the recoil cycle and a bit more sight motion as compared to the Comp. My ranking from least to most subjectively "jumpy" to shoot: P322. P365-380 w/XL grip module. If you're just getting it for home defense, I'd say either the xl or x macro are ok, but a full size and/or metal frame handgun will be much better in regards to lower recoil and accessory management. Some people love the Macro Comp and others not so much. For me, I have the Macro Comp with the Wilson Combat Macro grip, the Holosun 507K Green Dot and a SIG curved trigger (changed out the flat trigger because I seem to shoot the curved better). I like this setup just fine.

The pull on my X Macro is lighter, but the take up is too long, with far too much creep, a bit of overtravel, and a break that is simply intolerable in anything but a pocket pistol. To me, the Sig P365 X Macro Comp would be about the best gun of its size IF it were not for having a very limiting pocket pistol trigger.
The Sig Sauer P365 is a semi-automatic striker-fired pistol that is similar in some ways to the larger P320 series. It’s a different gun and parts aren’t compatible with the Sig P320, but the influence is plain to see. Like the P320, the Sig P365 has a takedown lever to separate the slide and frame without pulling the trigger.For uniform carry, I'm not sure. I tend to agree with the notion to go full-size or no smaller than a P229 or P320 Carry. Worried I might mistake the X-Macro for a taser or visa versa. Plus, your wearing a Sam Brown rig that carries a full-size handgun comfortably. You get the advantage of a longer barrel and possibly higher capacity. Manual Safety is absolutely required for me. The lack stops the glock 19x from being a perfect weapon. I will go with the 365x over the 365x macro because of the manual safety issue.
