As I said I don't use Tradovate, but basic data in CQG data in Ninjatrader is $12 a month, and it provides the main CME instruments, among many others. Either way, you are paying for market data. I suppose similar to the way that Samsung or Apple make phones, but the don't work without a carrier connection, which have separate contracts and fees.

Currently doing this. Looking for alternatives because you have to pay a data fee to Tradovate, and then another $30 a month for the cqg data for Sierra, and then the usage fee for Sierra. I think data and trading thru Sierra directly would be cheaper.Use Tradovate (browser version) + TradingView. Tradovate has the LOWEST fees and they have the lowest pricing on Data Feeds. I have the $99 plan and I have PRO+ plan for TradingView. If you are worried about $99 plan on Tradovate then do the free plan. Honestly if your looking for orderflow tools, Quantower, Ninjatrader, and Jigsaw is best. Trading view doesn't have the tools that the other platforms have for trading. Only benefit of tradingview is the load of custom indicators, and coding language they have for it.
