Start too early, and you will get way too many empty circles/flashing smilies. Start too late and it goes straight to static. TBH, I would recommend you save your money and get the cheap easy@home strips from Amazon - you can upload the photos of the results in a few apps (free) that interpret them for you and tell you high, low or peak fertility.

Apr 6, 2022 · The clear blue tests track two different hormones. The flashing face picks up estrogen and the static face picks up LH. Some women only get a couple of days of flashing and some get multiple depending on your estrogen levels and also how soon in your cycle you start using the tests.

This means that if you have a short lh surge (less than 24hours) and are only testing daily, you can completely miss the solid smiley.
