The new Max sucks. If I wanted basic cable I would have paid for it. Now there are a ton of crappy shows I don't want cluttering up my feed. I don't give a shit about property brothers or my 6000 lb life or whatever. HBO Max was great because every show on it was a high quality series, movie, or documentary. Now 75% of it is garbage.

The app works well enough for me on Fire stick and Roku, It's the content that sucks. It's like maybe 5% of their content is watchable. Back in the day HBO was like the top for movies and other content. As of Nov 22nd, serious issues w/ app still exist; I can’t get through 15 minutes without HBO Max app shutting off.
At the end of each episode I have to go back several screens, select the correct episode and then restart from beginning. If the show is close to the end and I walk away for a couple of mins or get distracted at all it skips ahead 5 -6 episodes. Continue Watching.
