I had to earn another 12,000 in order to by the Huntsman and then I was able to load ammo and equip the scope. The other 270 has to be unlocked before you can use it in a competition. You will also have to go to an Outpost and access your cache in order to go into your backpack to make the proper changes.

You can also press F2, select the gun (icon in the inner wheel, f**k this retarded interface lol) and then press the scope on the bottom right. Thanks I will give it a try. My hunting buddy's all can remove the scope from their rifle by pushing the wheel on their mouse down. I am unable to do this, Does any one know what the default key is.
