How to open the trunk of a chevy malibu.
The trunk relay caused the trunk to open on its own it's. It has nothing to do with the remote. When they change out the relay for a 2 shot relay, the problem is fixed. The relay is bad, nothing is done with the remote. I kept being told that the car is operating as designed when the trunk was opening randomly.

You cannot get to it from under the bumper because the locking mechanism is in the trunk lid. There is one suspicious hole in the lid trim liner, so I may investigate further.
