Just took the Next Gen Nclex and got the good popup! PASSED. This is my second time taking the NCLEX, first time was the old gen and got to all 150 questions. Gonna write this up in a way to answer all the questions im expecting to get but feel free to comment and ill reply asap. What did I think of next gen?Good pop-up, bad pop-up, hold? It looks like the trick had changed. I took NCLEX-RN yesterday, got cut off at 85q. In 3 hrs tried the PVT. Regardless the correct vs incorrect CVV and exp. date the website will refer you to you bank to send a confirmation text. I got a "good" pop-up with correct CVV and exp. date. and vague and "bad-looking" pop-up with wrong info.I don't want to say it is 100% accurate and that it has never happened that somebody with the good pop up ended up failing. Although, everybody I know (including myself) who got the good pop up passed and I have never heard of anyone failing with the good pop up.Studied with Archer for 3 weeks approx 75 questions/day 5 day/ week. NCLEX exam shut down at 97 questions after a SATA. Was feeling very indifferent but optimistic about my results. I tried the Pearson vue trick (aka good or and pop up) and got the " Bad pop up " multiple times. I spent the next 2 days sobbing & devastated.

I took mine today as well. Got 127 questions and got the good pop up saying I was already registered for a test. My friend took it last week and got 133 questions. She also got the good pop up and passed. The times I hear when the PVT doesn’t work is when the bad pop up comes up. I think you still have a chance of passing.

It's pretty accurate, from my experience. If you can see the good pop up 12 hours later it is a good chance you passed.

The good and bad pop-up on the NBCSN is not an accurate way to see if you passed or not. Pearson, NBCSN, and your BON are different entities. The test will prompt you to take a scheduled break around 2 hours if you want to. I definitely think you’ll have plenty of time to finish if you end up getting the whole 150, I had an hour and 15 min to spare once it shut off. Don’t stress yourself out too much, trust your gut!
