Ram 2500 stuck in 4th gear.

I recently bought a 2008 Ram 2500 with the 6.7I Cummins (the truck is totally stock except for suspension lift and tires). The transmission started to act up recently. It wouldn't shift past 4th gear, CEL came on, and the codes read P0700 and P0871. IIRC if it was reflashed to factory and was in limp mode, tuning with some tuners might not take it out of limp mode.
