Subaru outback driver window reset.
On a routine visit for service, I asked the service dept to help me reset the passenger window. After the dealer reset failed to correct the window bounce, the service writer just use a screwdriver to clean out gunk in the window's upper channel. Problem solved! The bounce was just caused by gunk blocking full closure.

The auto up/down does not work. When I push and hold the button down, the window goes about half way, and then stops. I have to let go of the button and press it again to get it to go the rest of the way. Getting the window to come up is even worse! UPDATE: Yes, my Driver Monitoring System does occasionally turn off. This usually happens when the sun is hitting the sensor directly. Might also happen when the dash gets hot but can';t verify that. The "Keep Eyes on the Road" warning rarely goes crazy but having sun on my glasses can cause that.

Wow - my battery died and I had the same issue on my 2015 OB - the drivers side switch for the passenger window wasn't working.The solution to use the the passenger side switch to roll the window down halfway, then hold roll up for 5 seconds solution worked for me. I think I heard a click too.It's also very simple, so it's possible it's the same in 2017. Even if the wiring is identical, a number of things need to be changed: Drivers's switch cluster. $125.
