I did it mainly with countdown (challenging) targeted loot backpack. You will see a lot of acostas bullsh*t backpacks. Every 2 matches you have enough countdown points to buy a exotic cache. For variety, Summit with friends farming floor 10 is also a good option. Yes, this. DO NOT farm discovery mode- it does not drop there- also you cannot get the keys from discovery mode- only the normal raid. You need 5 keys to open the box- getting it from a boss drop is WAAAAY rare- I had it drop for me in the box 9 times in 130 runs- pre warlords. I’ve only gotten it 1 time in 34 runs after warlords.
Anderson manhunt is by far the most efficient exotic farm right now. Summit specifically has pathetic drop rates even on Legendary with 5 directives (what I play). Anderson is a guaranteed exotic every 10-15 minutes. Even better if you play with friends and you share loot.
